Why Join the Pipe water taps are WRAS and KIWA certified
Every Join the Pipe refill station is manufactured in the Netherlands, at Korver B.V. in Mijdrecht, a metalworking company Join the Pipe has worked with since 2008. Each tap is built from AISI 316 stainless steel and certified to WRAS, KIWA, DVGW and OVGW, the drinking-water safety standards used across Europe, plus ADA compliance for the US market. For a buyer comparing refill stations, that combination of one factory, one steel grade, and four certifications is what determines whether a tap is actually safe to install on a public water mains, not just how it looks.
Why the steel grade and the certifications matter
AISI 316 stainless steel resists corrosion from constant water contact and outdoor weather far better than the cheaper 304 grade used in many lower-cost fountains. WRAS (UK) and KIWA (Netherlands) certify that the water-contact parts of a tap are safe for drinking water and won't leach anything harmful into the supply. DVGW covers the same standard for Germany, OVGW for Austria. Together they let one tap design ship to a hotel in Rotterdam, a municipality in Berlin, or a stadium in Vienna without a separate compliance check for each country. One factory, the whole product line
Korver B.V. produces every model in Join the Pipe's range from the same facility: outdoor units like the Street Tap and Park Tap, indoor models such as the Mall Tap, Lobby Tap and Bar Tap, and the mobile Water Bar used at events. Building all of them in one Dutch workshop keeps the manufacturing standard consistent across the whole line, whether a customer orders one tap for a single office or a multi-unit rollout for a hotel chain or municipality. There is no minimum order. Every tap is made to order, and each carries a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

Ordering a tap
Standard finishes are matte black and matte white, with custom colours available at extra charge and a logo added by sticker or signing.
