What is Join the Pipe?
Join the Pipe is an Amsterdam-based company that designs and manufactures custom-branded reusable bottles and drinking water taps for hotels, offices, municipalities, events, and other organisations. Our mission is to reduce single-use plastic by making tap water the first choice, through beautiful, functional, and fully customised water solutions that carry your brand.

We are based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and ship worldwide.
What types of products does Join the Pipe offer?
We offer two main product lines:
- Custom-branded reusable bottles: available in various sizes and styles, with or without printing.
- Custom-branded water taps: Street Tap, Park Tap, Wall Tap, Bar Tap, Pantry Tap, Lobby Tap, Hall Tap, Mall Tap, Mobile Tap, Water Bar, and more. Available in Matte Black, Matte White, or a custom colour.
We also offer accessories including carrier rings, caps, bottle racks, and display stands. All products can be personalised with your logo, brand colours, and artwork.
Is there a minimum order quantity for taps?
No, you can order as few as 1 tap. Each tap is produced and personalised to order. Contact us for a quote regardless of quantity.
What is the minimum order quantity for bottles?
There is no minimum order quantity for bottles without printing. For printed (custom-branded) bottles, the minimum order is 100 units.
Are your bottles made from sugarcane?
Yes. Our bottles are made from 99% sugarcane bioplastic (green PE) — a bio-based polyethylene that is CO₂-negative across its full lifecycle, 100% BPA-free, and certified by Braskem's I'm green™ standard. The only exception is the Kumasi variant.
Can I order a tap in a custom colour?
Yes. Taps are available in Matte Black, Matte White, and fully custom colours. A custom colour incurs an additional charge. Please specify your Pantone or RAL colour when requesting a quote and we will confirm feasibility and pricing.
Do you sell refurbished taps?
Yes. We offer refurbished Street Taps and Park Taps at 50% off the regular price. These are fully restored and functional taps, and a great sustainable and cost-effective choice. Contact us for current availability.
Can I rent a tap for an event?
Yes. We offer daily rental for Hall Taps, Bar Taps, Mobile Taps, and Water Bars, for up to 7 days, within Europe only. Travel and delivery costs apply. Contact us for pricing and availability.
What printing options are available for bottles?
We offer the following printing methods for bottles:
- Screen printing: 1, 2, or 3 Pantone spot colours. Minimum 100 units; 3-colour requires a minimum of 2,500 units.
- Full-colour digital printing: CMYK, ideal for photographs and complex artwork. Two sizes: logo up to 7 cm or logo 7 to 14 cm.
No printing is also available if you prefer a clean, unbranded bottle.
What file formats do I need to provide?
Screen printing: AI, EPS, or PDF (vector format required). Colours must be specified as Pantone (PMS) spot colours, not RGB or CMYK.
Digital printing: PDF, JPEG, PNG, or TIFF in CMYK colour mode at 300 dpi minimum. Do not supply RGB files.

Will I see a proof before production starts?
Yes. We provide a digital artwork proof for your approval before any production begins. Production only starts once you have approved the proof in writing.
Can I add my logo to a tap?
Yes. You can add your logo to a tap using a sticker or signing. Pricing is included in your quote, just let us know your requirements when you submit a quote request.
How do I get a price?
You can visit our pricing page for our 2026 price lists on taps, rental and bottles. For a personalised quote based on your product selection, quantity and customisation, request one below — we respond within 1 business day.

We invoice after delivery with 30-day payment terms.
Are prices including VAT?
All prices are quoted excluding VAT.
- Netherlands: 21% VAT applies.
- EU businesses (outside NL): VAT reverse charge applies, 0% with a valid VAT number.
- Outside the EU: 0% VAT (export), applicable when goods are physically delivered outside the EU.
How long does delivery take?
Stock items (black and white bottles and taps, no printing): available immediately — delivery only.
Printed / custom-branded orders: approximately 10 working days production after your artwork is approved, plus delivery.
Delivery after production:
- Netherlands & Belgium: 1–3 business days
- Rest of Europe: 2–5 business days
- Outside Europe: contact us for exact timing — varies by destination

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship our bottles and taps worldwide. Tap and water-bar rental is available within Europe only. Contact us with your location and we will check what is possible.
Do taps come with a warranty?
Yes. All Join the Pipe taps come with a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects under normal use and conditions.
Do bottles come with a warranty?
Bottles do not carry a formal warranty period. However, if your order arrives with manufacturing defects or damage, please contact us within 5 business days of delivery at sales.nl@jointhepipe.com with photos, and we will find a solution.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
Contact us within 5 business days of delivery at sales.nl@jointhepipe.com or call +31 20 794 22 94. Please include photos of the damaged items and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or credit as quickly as possible.
